In this course you are going to learn some basics on how to use graphic design software. You are going to create a flyer for a fictional pottery show. You will need an image, preferably the one you created in the two previous courses on product photography and image editing.

Before you start the course, we would like to point out that you are going to be using a paid for software called Affinity Designer. This is not an endorsement or an advertisement. We have not received and compensation from Serif. Affinity Designer was chosen simply because it is easy to learn for first time users. You will have to download and install a fully functional free 30-day trial version. If you choose to purchase it, Affinity designer is very affordable. It does not use subscription payment method. It is a one-time fee, and you own your software.

Concepts and tools will be similar to other graphic design software.
