Why and how did you get Skillability platform? So which is your challenge?
A friend told me about the Skillability project and the platform behind it. I looked at the website and decided to sign up. After registration, I was contacted by Teodora Dimitrova, she told me more about the platform, about the courses available in several languages, about the opportunity to meet creators from other countries. Calmly and methodically in several meetings, we filled out an Evaluation form, identified the courses I needed to complete, set deadlines for doing so. Until now, my mentor continues to support me, take an interest in my progress and help me when needed.
Which is your talent? What is your skill that you are proud of?
In the last 3-4 years I discovered that I really like working with metal. I started repairing broken handles of our homemade kitchen knives, sharpening blades… So, step by step, handcrafting knives became my hobby. I started buying tools and materials and setting up a workshop that is still housed in my basement. Friends liked my knives and started ordering – for gifts, for personal use. The best part is that they started recommending me to their friends too. So I found that I needed training in personal presentation, social media advertising, pricing, product photography, etc. At the end but not least I highly recommend the Marketplace platform and Skilltalent website.
Why should everybody have to join the platform?
At the end but not least I highly recommend the Marketplace platform because it is easy to work and navigate, because it is an opportunity to connect with potential buyers, because it is a place where you can meet and find like-minded people.
